Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Tidio

Ask your AI what a customer wrote in chat, which pages they looked at, or to reply to a support ticket in Tidio. It can search and update contacts, read chat messages, create, update and reply to tickets, assign them to operators or departments, and add Q&A answers for the Lyro AI agent. Support questions get answered without switching between inboxes.

Try asking

  • “What did [email protected] write to us in chat?”

The AI finds the contact by email and lists the messages in her conversation.

  • “Which pages did she look at before she wrote?”

It lists the website pages the contact has viewed.

  • “Assign ticket 4812 to the Billing department and set priority to high.”

It looks up your departments and updates the ticket with the new assignee and priority.

What your AI can do

Contacts and chats

Search, create and update contacts, read their chat messages and custom properties, and see which pages they viewed.

Tickets

Create tickets, reply publicly or with internal notes, and update status, priority, tags and assignee.

Lyro knowledge

List the sources the Lyro AI agent answers from, and add or update its Q&A answers.

  • “Add an internal note to that ticket: refund approved, waiting for finance.”

It replies to the ticket as an operator with an internal message, so the customer does not see it.

  • “Open a ticket for [email protected]: order 1043 arrived damaged. Tag it damaged.”

It creates a ticket on her behalf with a subject, her email, the message and the tag.

  • “Teach Lyro our new return policy: 30 days, free returns in Denmark.”

It adds a Q&A knowledge source for Lyro with the question as title and your policy as the answer.

Questions

What can the AI do in Tidio?

The AI can read contacts, chat messages, viewed pages, contact properties, tickets, ticket tags, operators, departments and Lyro data sources. It can create and update contacts, create, reply to and update tickets, and add or update Lyro Q&As. It can also delete a contact if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my Tidio credentials?

No. Your Tidio credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. A public ticket reply reaches the customer and deleting a contact is permanent, and both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Tidio account.

Can the AI reply to my customers?

Yes, on tickets. The AI replies as an operator, and a public reply is sent to the customer. If you only want it to leave notes for your team, ask for an internal message, which stays private. You can also require approval before any reply goes out.
