It posts the reply on the ticket. A public reply shows in Slack for the requester, and an internal note stays private.
“Open a ticket in Facilities for Jonas: the meeting room screen is broken.”
It creates the ticket in the Facilities inbox with Jonas as requester and your description.
“Start the software access workflow for Jonas, for Figma.”
It reads the workflow's form fields and starts it with the values you gave. The people involved are notified in Slack.

These tools are switched on when you connect. You can switch any of them off, or require your approval before it runs.

Pick the app

Paste your key
Paste your Wrangle API token, Slack user ID and Slack workspace ID. The Wrangle API is a paid add-on (ask [email protected] to enable it). A Wrangle admin then opens the API & Integrations page (slack.wrangle.io/integrations/api) and copies the API token, slackUserId and slackWorkspaceId.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Wrangle?

It can list and read inboxes, tickets and workflows, create and update tickets, reply to tickets publicly or with an internal note, start workflows with form values, and delete tickets if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my Wrangle API token?

No. Your Wrangle API token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Public replies and started workflows reach people in Slack, and deleting a ticket is permanent. Those actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Wrangle account with the Wrangle API enabled, which is a paid add-on from Wrangle.

Why does Wrangle need a Slack user ID and workspace ID?

Every Wrangle API call names the Slack user and workspace it acts for. Calls run as the Slack user whose ID you paste, so the AI sees the inboxes and workflows that user can access. You find both IDs on Wrangle's API & Integrations page.
