Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Trengo
Ask your AI which Trengo tickets are still open, what a customer wrote last, or to draft and send a reply. It can list and read conversations, search contacts and profiles, look up quick replies and help center articles, and assign, label, merge, close or reopen tickets. Internal notes stay inside your team.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Which open tickets are not assigned to anyone yet?”
The AI lists tickets with status OPEN, newest first, so you can see what still needs an owner.
“Summarize the conversation in ticket 88412.”
It reads the messages in the ticket, including internal notes, and sums up what happened.
“Assign ticket 88412 to the billing team and label it Refund.”
It finds the team and label IDs, assigns the ticket and adds the label.

Questions
What can the AI do in Trengo?
The AI can read tickets, messages, contacts, profiles, users, teams, labels, quick replies and help center articles. It can reply to tickets, add internal notes, start new conversations, create and update contacts, and assign, label, merge, close, reopen or delete tickets.
Does the AI see my Trengo access token?
No. Your Trengo access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Sending messages to customers and deleting tickets, which is permanent, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Trengo account. PipMCP is not affiliated with Trengo.
Can the AI reply to customers on its own?
Only if you switch on the reply or new message tools. A reply is sent to the customer immediately, so many teams make those tools require approval. The AI can also add an internal note instead, which only your team sees.
