Connect Claude & ChatGPT to HelpDesk.com
Ask your AI which tickets are waiting, what a customer wrote and how fast your team answers. It can search and read tickets, reply or add internal notes, change status and priority, tag, merge and move tickets. It also reads agents, teams, canned responses and views, and pulls reports on new tickets, response times, resolution times and ratings.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Which urgent tickets are still open?”
The AI searches open tickets by priority and lists them with subject, requester and assignment.
“Summarize ticket 8842 for me.”
It reads the ticket with requester, status, tags and the full message history, and sums it up.
“Reply to the customer with our shipping canned response and set the ticket to pending.”
It reads the canned response, posts the reply, which is emailed to the requester, and changes the status.

Questions
What can the AI do in HelpDesk.com?
The AI can search and read tickets, agents, teams, tags, mailboxes, custom fields, views and canned responses, and run reports. It can reply to tickets or add internal notes, change status, priority and tags, add followers, merge tickets, move them to folders, create tags and ask a requester to rate their support.
Does the AI see my HelpDesk.com access token?
No. Your HelpDesk.com token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. A reply that is not marked private is emailed to the requester, and actions like moving a ticket to trash or sending a rating request can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own HelpDesk.com account.
Where do I create the HelpDesk.com access token?
In the Developers Console at developers.livechat.com/console, where you log in with your HelpDesk.com credentials. Open Tools > Personal Access Tokens and create a token with the scopes you need, at least accounts--my:ro. The console also shows your Account ID, which you enter next to the token.
