Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Halo Service Solutions
Ask your AI which tickets are open for a client, what happened on a ticket, or to log a private note with time taken. In HaloPSA it can create tickets, clients and end users, read sites, agents, assets and knowledge base articles, and look up appointments, invoices and quotes.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Which open tickets does Acme Ltd have?”
The AI finds the client and lists its open tickets with summary, status and assigned agent.
“What is the latest on ticket 10452?”
It reads the ticket and its actions, with the customer conversation and the most recent update.
“Log a private note on ticket 10452: replaced the switch, 1.5 hours.”
It looks up the action outcomes and adds a note hidden from the user with the time taken.

Questions
What can the AI do in Halo?
It can search and read tickets, ticket actions, clients, sites, end users, agents, assets, knowledge base articles, appointments, invoices and quotes, plus ticket types, priorities and action outcomes. It can create tickets, clients and end users, and add actions such as notes and time to tickets.
Does the AI see my Halo credentials?
No. You paste your Halo Client ID and Client secret into PipMCP once. Your Halo credentials are encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save them, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you have switched on.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Adding an action with sendemail emails the end user, and actions like that can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own Halo account.
Which Halo agent does the AI act as?
The AI works as the agent you pick when you create the application under Config › Integrations › Halo API, with the permissions you tick there. Halo applies those permissions on top of the tools you switch on in PipMCP. The get_current_agent tool shows which agent the connection uses.
