Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Workable from the app list.

Paste your key
Enter your Workable subdomain (the "acme" in acme.workable.com) and an API access token. As a Workable admin, click your profile icon → Settings → Integrations → Apps, find API Access Tokens and click Generate API token. Choose an expiry and scopes, and copy the token right away, because Workable does not show it again.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Workable?

The AI can read jobs, pipeline stages, candidates, candidate files, activity, interviews, offers, members and disqualification reasons. It can add candidates to a job, move them between stages, comment, rate, replace tags, disqualify candidates and undo a disqualification.

Does the AI see my Workable credentials?

No. Your Workable API access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. Candidate data is personal data, so you can start read-only and keep disqualify_candidate off if a person should make every rejection. Moving, rating and tagging candidates can require your approval before they run, and every tool call is logged. The scopes you pick for the token in Workable also limit what can be reached.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Workable account.

Why does the AI need a member ID?

Workable records which user moved, commented on, rated or disqualified a candidate. Those actions take the member_id of a Workable user, and the AI finds it with list_members. The action then shows up on the candidate's timeline under that user.
