Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Website Toolbox Community from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Website Toolbox API key. In your forum admin area go to Integrate → API and copy or generate the API key.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Website Toolbox?

The AI can read categories, topics, posts, tags, members, user groups and private conversations. It can start topics, reply to topics, edit and delete posts, delete topics, create and update members, add members to groups, and send or reply to private messages.

Does the AI see my Website Toolbox API key?

No. Your Website Toolbox API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Posting publishes on your forum, private messages notify members, and deleting posts or topics is permanent, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Website Toolbox forum.

Who does the AI post as?

When the AI starts a topic or replies, it posts under a username you give it, for example your admin account. Private messages are sent from the sender you choose. You can see every call in the PipMCP log.
