Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose 360dialog from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a 360dialog API key. In the 360dialog Client Hub click your channel (phone number), go to API Settings, click the three dots and choose "Generate new API Key". The key is shown once, and generating a new key revokes the old ones. If the number shows "Managed by partner", ask your integration partner for the key.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in 360dialog?

The AI can send WhatsApp messages, list, read, create, edit and delete message templates, browse Meta's template library and read template analytics. It can read and update your business profile, check the number's health, read WhatsApp Flows and their preview links, fetch media, create and read groups, and list or block users.

Does the AI see my 360dialog credentials?

No. Your 360dialog API key and account details are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with templates and analytics only. Sending a message reaches a real customer, a new or edited template goes to Meta for review, and deleting a template cannot be undone. All of them can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own 360dialog account and WhatsApp number. Anything 360dialog or Meta charges for messages is between you and them.

Why can the AI only send templates to some customers?

WhatsApp only allows free messages within 24 hours of the customer's last message to you. Outside that window, only approved message templates work. The AI can check which templates are approved, and it can create new ones, which Meta then reviews.
