What can the AI do in TXTMSG.lk?
The AI can send SMS messages to one or more numbers and SMS campaigns to a contact group, with an optional scheduled time. It can read sent messages and campaigns with their delivery status, check your SMS balance and read your profile. It can create and rename contact groups, and add, update, read and delete contacts.
Does the AI see my TXTMSG.lk credentials?
No. Your TXTMSG.lk API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Sending an SMS or a campaign reaches real phones, uses credits and cannot be recalled, and deleting a contact is permanent, so these can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own TXTMSG.lk account. Sending SMS uses units from your TXTMSG.lk balance.
Can the AI text a whole contact group at once?
Yes. The AI sends an SMS campaign from your sender ID to every contact in the group you name, right away or at a scheduled time. The whole group gets the message and it uses credits, so ask it to check your SMS balance first and consider putting campaigns behind approval.
