Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose TalkFurther from the app list.

Paste your key
Pick your Further API address by region (US https://api.talkfurther.com, Canada https://api.ca.talkfurther.com, UK https://api.uk.talkfurther.com) and paste an organization API key. An administrator creates the key in Further under Settings › Integrations › API keys, picks the permissions it needs and copies the secret, which starts with frth_org_ and is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in TalkFurther?

It can search and read leads, lead conversation timelines, communities, community groups, community events, pricing, survey data, sales contacts and website visitors. It can create leads, send a lead an email or SMS, and update a community's sales contact info.

Does the AI see my TalkFurther credentials?

No. Your Further API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Sending an email or SMS reaches a real prospect, and changing sales contacts decides where new leads are announced. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Further account.

Which API address and permissions should I use?

Use the address for the region your Further account is in: US, Canada or UK. When you create the key, pick only the permissions the AI needs, for example Leads Read and Conversations Read for lookups, and add write permissions if you want it to create leads or send messages.
