Create a free PipMCP account and choose Active Knocker from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Active Knocker API key. In Active Knocker, open Configuration → Integration and copy your x-api-key.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Active Knocker?

The AI can read knock pins with their notes, tags, to-dos, proposals and activity log, plus your pin statuses, tags, colors, users and to-dos. It can create knock pins, change their status, assign and tag them, update their notes, contact and address, and create, update, complete and delete to-dos.

Does the AI see my Active Knocker credentials?

No. Your Active Knocker credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Deleting a to-do is permanent and updating notes replaces the old notes, and both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What is a knock pin?

A knock pin is a door-knocking record in Active Knocker: a location with a pin status, contact and address details, notes, tags, to-dos and proposals. The AI finds pins with list_knock_pins and works with them by their knock pin ID.
