Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose SMS Manager by BulkSMS.com.au from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste an SMS Manager API key. Log in to SMS Manager, open API Keys, click Create New Key, give it a name and copy the value. Anyone with the key can send messages on your account, so keep it secret.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in SMS Manager?

It can read and search messages, chats, incoming messages, replies, recipients and delivery status, message statistics, contacts, groups, templates, scheduled messages, sender IDs and your credit balance. It can send and schedule SMS and MMS, create and update contacts, create groups and add contacts to them, save templates, pause and resume scheduled messages, and cancel a scheduled message or delete a contact.

Does the AI see my SMS Manager API key?

No. Your SMS Manager credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Sending an SMS reaches real phones and uses credits, and cancelling a scheduled message or deleting a contact cannot be undone. These can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own SMS Manager account, and messages you send use its credits.

Does sending messages use credits?

Yes. Messages the AI sends go out to real phones and use credits on your SMS Manager account. The AI can check your credit balance before a large send, and you can require your approval for send_sms so nothing goes out without you.
