Questions
What can the AI do in Sellsy?
It can search Sellsy and read companies, contacts, individuals, opportunities, pipelines, estimates, invoices, catalogue items, tasks and staff. It can create and update companies and opportunities, create individuals and estimates, create draft invoices, create and update tasks and add comments.
Does the AI see my Sellsy Client secret?
No. You paste your Client secret into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example search and lookups without creating documents. Actions like create_estimate or create_invoice can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You connect your own Sellsy account, so anything Sellsy charges is between you and Sellsy.
Can the AI send or validate invoices?
No. The AI can create an invoice, but it stays a draft until you validate it in Sellsy yourself. It can read existing invoices with their rows, totals, due date and payment status. The scopes you choose for the Personal API access also limit what it can reach.
