With Routee connected it can send SMS, Viber messages and transactional email, run SMS campaigns to contacts and groups, look up phone numbers and read your balance transactions. Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Routee from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Routee Application ID and Application Secret. Sign in at go.routee.net and open Applications. Copy the Application Id, then click the lock icon next to Application Secret and confirm your password to reveal and copy the secret. PipMCP uses them to get access tokens, so there is no separate sign-in.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Routee?

It can send SMS, Viber messages, transactional email and one-time verification codes, and send or schedule SMS campaigns. It can check delivery status, search sent SMS from the last 7 days, look up phone numbers, create, update and delete contacts, manage groups, and read prices and balance transactions.

Does the AI see my Routee application secret?

No. Your Routee credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you switch on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with reading only. Sending messages and campaigns costs money and reaches real people, and deleting a contact is permanent. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link works in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, and in Cursor.

What does it cost?

Routee connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Routee account, and messages and lookups are charged by Routee.

Can I check the cost before sending?

Yes. The AI can estimate an SMS before it goes out: for the text, sender and recipient it returns the encoding, how many message parts it takes and the estimated cost, without sending anything. It can also list Routee prices by service, country or network.
