Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Proff from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Proff API token. Proff issues API keys after you sign an API agreement with them, which you start through Proff sales via apidocs.proff.no.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Proff?

The AI can search company registers in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland and read company profiles with key figures and financial statements. It can look up shareholders, owners, holdings, group structure, board members and managers, past role holders and directory listings. It only reads data and cannot change anything in Proff.

Where do I get a Proff API token?

Proff issues API tokens after you sign an API agreement with them. Contact Proff sales through apidocs.proff.no. Once you have the token, paste it into PipMCP and your MCP link is ready in about a minute.

Does the AI see my Proff API key?

No. Your API token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. Once saved, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only works through the tools you switch on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. All Proff tools only read data, so the AI cannot change anything in Proff. Every tool call is logged, so you can see which lookups the AI made.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link works in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, and in Cursor.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans bill per completed task, so you pay for work the AI actually finishes.
