Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Notion from the app list.

Paste the Internal Integration Secret from a new internal integration at notion.so/profile/integrations. Then open each page or database the AI should reach in Notion, click ••• > Connections and add your integration.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Notion?

The AI can search pages and databases, read pages as Markdown, query database rows and read comments and workspace users. It can create, move and update pages, edit content with Markdown, append, update or delete blocks, and add comments.

Can the AI see my whole Notion workspace?

No. It only sees the pages and databases you have connected to your integration through ••• > Connections. Anything you have not shared stays out of reach. You can add or remove access in Notion at any time.

Does the AI see my Notion API key?

No. Your internal integration secret is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. Once saved, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only works through the tools you switch on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. Risky actions, such as moving a page to trash or deleting a block, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged, so you can see what the AI did.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link works in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, and in Cursor.

What does it cost?
