Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose OneBookPlus from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a OneBookPlus API key. In OneBookPlus open Settings > API keys. Request developer access if asked, and once it is approved, create a key (it starts with obp_live_) and copy it.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in OneBookPlus?

It can search and read contacts, bookings, jobs, quotes and invoices. It can create and update contacts, bookings, jobs and quotes, for example to reschedule a booking or change a quote's status. It can also delete a contact if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my OneBookPlus API key?

No. Your OneBookPlus API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Deleting a contact removes it from your lists, and it and other changes can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own OneBookPlus account.

Can the AI create invoices in OneBookPlus?

No. The AI can find and read invoices, including amounts, status and due dates, but it cannot create or change them. It can create and update quotes, jobs, bookings and contacts.
