Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose NeonCRM from the app list.

Paste your key
Enter your NeonCRM Org ID and an API key. Org ID: in Neon CRM go to the Settings cog > Organization Profile and find Organization ID under Account Information. API key: Settings cog > User Management, open or create a user, enable API Access and copy the API key. The key has that user's permissions.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in NeonCRM?

The AI can find and read accounts and their contacts, donations, memberships, membership levels, recurring donations, events, registrations, attendees, activities, campaigns and funds. It can create and update accounts, donations and activities. It can also refund a payment if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my NeonCRM API key?

No. You enter your NeonCRM Org ID and API key in PipMCP once. They are encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save them, not even to you. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Refunds return money and cannot be undone, and recording a donation with an online card payment may charge the donor's card. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own NeonCRM account.

Can the AI refund a donation?

Only if you switch on the refund_payment tool. It refunds a payment from a donation, membership or registration, returns the money to the payer and cannot be undone. Most organizations keep it off or require approval for every refund.
