Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Moxie
Ask your AI about clients, projects, invoices and tickets in Moxie. It can log time, create projects, tasks and invoices, record a payment you received, add expenses and sales opportunities, and comment on support tickets. It checks a client's exact name first, so new records land on the right client.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Log 2 hours on the Nordic Foods website project from 9 to 11 today.”
The AI creates a time entry with start and end time, your user, the client and the project.
“Create an invoice for Nordic Foods, due in 14 days.”
It confirms the client name and creates the invoice. It is only emailed to the client if you ask for that.
“Nordic Foods paid invoice 1042 by bank transfer today.”
It records the payment against the invoice with amount, date and payment type. No money is moved.
What your AI can do
Clients and projects
Search clients, contacts and projects, create contacts and projects, and find agreements for a client.
Invoices and expenses
Search invoices, create new ones, record payments received and log expenses as reimbursable or paid.
Time, tasks and tickets
Log time entries, create and list tasks, create tickets and comment on them, and save calendar events.
“Add a task called Homepage copy to the website project, due Friday.”
It creates the task in the project with due date, status and assignees if you give them.
“What support tickets do we have?”
It lists your tickets and can add a comment, private if you do not want the client to see it.
“Add an opportunity: Brand refresh for Acme, 40,000 DKK, stage Proposal.”
It reads your pipeline stages and adds the opportunity with value, stage and client.

Set up in three steps
- 1
Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Moxie from the app list.
- 2
Paste your key
Paste two things: your workspace API base URL and your Custom API key. In Moxie open the Custom API integration and choose Enable. Moxie then generates the key and shows your workspace-specific API base URL next to it. Custom API is on Moxie's Pro and Teams plans.
- 3
Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Moxie?
It can list and search clients, contacts, projects, invoices, agreements, tasks, tickets, users and pipeline and task stages. It can create contacts, projects, tasks, invoices, expenses, opportunities, tickets and time entries, record invoice payments, comment on tickets and create or update calendar events.
Does the AI see my Moxie credentials?
No. Your Moxie credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Creating an invoice can email it to the client if the AI is asked to send it, so that tool can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Moxie account.
Why does Moxie need an API base URL?
Each Moxie workspace has its own API address. When you enable the Custom API integration, Moxie shows that base URL next to the key, and PipMCP needs both to reach your workspace. Custom API is on Moxie's Pro and Teams plans.
