Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Livestorm from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Livestorm API token. Your workspace must be validated for API access; if it is not, email [email protected]. Then go to Account Settings > Integrations, scroll to the bottom, click the Public API card and generate a token with the scopes you need (identity, events, admin, webhooks). The token is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Livestorm?

It can read your organization, events, sessions, registrants, people, team members, session questions, chat and recordings. It can create and update events, update sessions, register people for a session, update registrant details and remove a registration.

Does the AI see my Livestorm API token?

No. You paste your Livestorm API token into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Registering someone, removing a registration and changing a session's time affect real attendees, and those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own Livestorm account.

Why can't I create a Livestorm API token?

Livestorm only allows API tokens for workspaces that are validated for API access. If you do not see the Public API option, email [email protected]. When you create the token, pick only the scopes you need and copy it right away, because it is shown only once.
