Connect Claude & ChatGPT to CallRail
Ask your AI how many calls came in yesterday, which ones were missed or which callers were marked as leads, and it reads the answer from CallRail. It lists your tracked calls with filters for date, caller, direction, answer status, lead status, tags and company. The current tools only read data, so nothing in CallRail changes.

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose CallRail from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a CallRail API v3 key. In CallRail, open the integrations library (or the Data Access menu), choose API Keys and click Create New API v3 Key. Copy it right away, because it is shown only once. The CallRail account ID field is optional.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in CallRail?
It can list your tracked calls and filter them by date or date range, caller number, name or tag, direction, answer status, lead status, company and tracker. It can also list the companies and users on your account. The current tools only read data, so the AI cannot change anything in CallRail.
Does the AI see my CallRail API key?
No. Your CallRail API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. All CallRail tools in PipMCP only read data, and you can still require your approval before any tool runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own CallRail account.
Whose permissions does the API key use?
A CallRail API v3 key belongs to the user who created it and acts with that user's permissions. The AI can only see what that user can see in CallRail, on top of the tools you switch on in PipMCP.
