Paste your key
Paste your LeadBoxer API key. Log in at app.leadboxer.com, open Integrations > Data > API key and generate or copy your key. API access needs a LeadBoxer plan with an API license, and some lookups use credits.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in LeadBoxer?
The AI can list your datasets, search leads, read lead profiles, list visit events and saved segments, and look up companies by domain or IP address. It can also tag leads, assign them to team members and check your lookup credits.
Does the AI see my LeadBoxer API key?
No. Your LeadBoxer API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with searching and reading leads only. Tagging and assigning leads changes what your team sees and can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own LeadBoxer account. Domain and IP lookups may use LeadBoxer credits.
What is a dataset in LeadBoxer?
A dataset is a website you track in LeadBoxer. Its ID is the site value the lead tools use. The AI can list the datasets your LeadBoxer user has access to, so you do not need to look the ID up yourself.
