Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Gong

Ask your AI what was said on a call, how the team's talk ratios look this month, or what Gong knows about a deal. It can read calls, transcripts, users, scorecards and trackers, pull activity and interaction stats, ask questions about a CRM record and manage meetings, tasks and Engage flows in Gong.

Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.

Try asking

  • “Summarize yesterday's calls with Acme.”

The AI lists the calls in that date range, picks out the Acme calls and reads their transcripts.

  • “What were the talk ratios for the sales team last month?”

It gets interaction stats per user for the period: talk ratio, longest monologue, questions and patience.

  • “What does Gong say about next steps on the Acme opportunity?”

It asks Gong about the CRM record, and Gong answers from the calls and emails linked to it.

What your AI can do

Calls and transcripts

List calls, read call details with parties, topics, trackers and CRM context, get transcripts and browse library folders.

Coaching and stats

Pull activity and interaction stats per user, answered scorecards, scorecard definitions, call outcomes and keyword trackers.

Deals, meetings and flows

Ask about a CRM record or generate a brief, create, update and delete meetings, update tasks and assign prospects to Engage flows.

  • “Which calls are in our Best discovery calls folder?”

It finds the library folder and lists the calls saved in it.

  • “Show my open tasks and move the Acme follow-up to Friday.”

It lists your tasks and changes the due date on the one you mean.

  • “Add these three contacts to our Q3 outreach flow.”

It finds the Engage flow and assigns the CRM prospects to it. The flow may then send emails and create tasks for them.

Questions

What can the AI do in Gong?

The AI can read calls, call details, transcripts, users, workspaces, library folders, scorecards, trackers, call outcomes, tasks and Engage flows, and pull activity and interaction stats. It can ask questions about a CRM record or generate a brief for it. It can also create, update and delete meetings, update tasks and assign prospects to Engage flows.

Does the AI see my Gong access keys?

No. Your Gong credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with calls, transcripts and stats only. Deleting a meeting is permanent, and assigning prospects to a flow may send them emails. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Gong account.

Who can create the Gong API keys?

A technical administrator in Gong. They create an Access Key and Access Key Secret on the Gong API page, and your company's API base URL is shown on the API authentication page. You paste all three into PipMCP.
