Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose GoFundMe Pro from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste the Client ID and Client secret from your GoFundMe Pro account. Log in to GoFundMe Pro (Classy), open the API tab, name your application and click Generate credentials. API credentials are for Pro and Enterprise clients. PipMCP uses them to get access tokens, so there is no separate sign-in.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in GoFundMe Pro?

The AI can read campaigns, transactions, supporters, recurring donation plans and their transactions, fundraising pages and their donors, fundraising teams, designations, event registrations and the activity feed. It can create and update supporters. There are no tools that refund or change donations.

Does the AI see my GoFundMe Pro client secret?

No. You enter your GoFundMe Pro Client ID and Client secret in PipMCP once. They are encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save them, not even to you. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on. Most tools only read, so you can start with those. Creating or updating a supporter can require your approval before it runs, and every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

GoFundMe Pro connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own GoFundMe Pro account.

Where do I find my organization ID?

You do not have to look it up. The AI can call get_me to find your member ID and then list_my_organizations to get the organization IDs the other tools need. Just ask it to start there.
