Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose DocuSign eSignature from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste four values from your own DocuSign app, then sign in to DocuSign once. In DocuSign go to Settings (Admin) > Apps and Keys, click Add App and Integration Key, add a secret key and the redirect URI https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback. Paste the Integration key and Secret key. On the same page copy the API Account ID and the first part of the Account Base URI (the na3 in https://na3.docusign.net). PipMCP renews access automatically after that.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in DocuSign?

The AI can read the account, users, envelopes, recipients, audit events, form data, templates and favorite templates, and download envelope and template documents. It can create envelopes, add, correct or remove recipients, send drafts, resend notifications, void envelopes and get a link to prepare a draft in DocuSign.

Does the AI see my DocuSign credentials?

No. Your DocuSign credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with status checks only. Sending envelopes, correcting recipients and voiding can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

DocuSign connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own DocuSign account.

Will the AI send documents for signature on its own?

Only if you let it. The AI can create an envelope as a draft, which DocuSign does not send, or with status sent, which emails the recipients right away. Voiding a sent envelope cannot be undone. You can require approval for create_envelope and update_envelope, or leave them off.
