Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Concrete

Ask your AI what your team last discussed with a company, which companies sit in a fund, or how a portfolio company's KPIs have moved in Concrete. It can search and update companies, log meetings and notes, add companies to a fund and set their portfolio status. Your fund's records stay current without switching tabs.

Try asking

  • “What are our latest notes on Acme Robotics?”

The AI searches for the company and lists the notes linked to it.

  • “Which companies are in Fund II?”

It lists your funds and then the portfolio companies in the one you mean.

  • “Log today's call with Acme: they closed two enterprise deals and plan to hire a CFO.”

It creates a meeting with your notes and the time. The meeting is linked to the attendees you name.

Questions

What can the AI do in Concrete?

The AI can search and read companies, funds, portfolio companies, notes, touchpoints, trackers, tracker values and your team's network connections. It can create and update companies and notes, log meetings, add companies to a fund and set a portfolio company's status. It can also permanently delete a note if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my Concrete API key?

No. Your Concrete API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Deleting a note cannot be undone and can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Concrete account.

Can the AI save meeting transcripts to Concrete?

Yes. The create_meeting tool logs a meeting with notes, a transcript, a meeting note title or a calendar event title, plus optional attendees and time. If you give it an existing meeting note ID, it updates that meeting instead of creating a new one.
