Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose ClickSend SMS from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your ClickSend API username and API key. Log in to the ClickSend dashboard and click the key icon in the top-right corner to see both. The username goes in the username field and the API key in the password field.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in ClickSend?

The AI can read your account and credit balance, sent SMS history, delivery receipts, inbound replies, contacts, contact lists, SMS templates, SMS campaigns and verified email sender addresses. It can send SMS, email and SMS campaigns, calculate prices, cancel scheduled SMS, create templates and lists, and create, update or delete contacts.

Does the AI see my ClickSend API key?

No. Your ClickSend API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with history and delivery receipts only. Sending SMS, email and campaigns reaches real people and uses credit, and deleting a contact is permanent. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own ClickSend account. Messages you send use your ClickSend credit.

Can I check the price before the AI sends anything?

Yes. The calculate_sms_price tool takes the same messages as a real send and returns the cost without sending. You can ask the AI to check the price first and only send after you confirm.
