Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Zoho Inventory from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste the Client ID and Client Secret from your own Zoho API client, your Zoho domain ending (com, eu, in, com.au, jp, ca or sa) and your Organization ID, then sign in with your Zoho login once. Go to api-console.zoho.com on your Zoho data center, click Add Client › Server-based Applications, enter any name and homepage, and set the Authorized Redirect URI to https://pipmcp.com/oauth/callback.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Zoho Inventory?

The AI can search and read items, contacts, sales orders, packages, invoices, customer payments, purchase orders, purchase receives, stock adjustments, locations and organizations. It can create items, contacts, invoices, packages, purchase orders, purchase receives and stock adjustments, update items and contacts, confirm sales orders, record customer payments and email invoices.

Does the AI see my Zoho Inventory credentials?

No. Your Zoho Inventory credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Emailing an invoice reaches your customer, and receiving goods or adjusting stock changes your stock levels. Recording a payment only notes money you already received and does not charge anyone. These actions can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Zoho Inventory connects with OAuth, and this OAuth connection needs the PipMCP Pro plan. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Zoho Inventory account.

Why do I need the Organization ID and domain ending?

Zoho runs separate data centers, so PipMCP needs your domain ending (for example com or eu) to reach the right one. One Zoho login can have several Zoho Inventory organizations, and the Organization ID tells PipMCP which one the AI works in.
