Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Webshipper from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste two values: your Webshipper account name (the "acme" in acme.webshipper.io) and an API token. In Webshipper go to Settings › Access and tokens and create an access token. Application tokens do not expire.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Webshipper?

The AI can read orders, shipments, labels, tracking events, returns, carriers, shipping rates and order channels. It can get rate quotes, find drop points, create and update orders, book shipments, add comments, register returns and delete orders, if you switch those tools on.

Does the AI see my Webshipper API token?

No. Your Webshipper token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example rates and tracking only. Booking a shipment books real carrier transport, and deleting an order is permanent. Both can require your approval before they run, and every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You connect your own Webshipper account, so anything Webshipper or your carriers charge is between you and them.

Does booking a shipment cost money?

It can. When the AI books a shipment, it books real transport with your carrier, just as if you did it yourself in Webshipper, and it may be charged. Getting a rate quote does not book anything, so the AI can compare prices first.
