Paste your Shipmondo API user and API key. In Shipmondo, go to Settings → Integrations → API, create an API user and copy the API user (username) and API key (password).

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Shipmondo?

It can compare shipping quotes, create shipments and labels, cancel shipments and book carrier pickups. It can create, update, hold and release sales orders and set internal notes. It can also look up shipments, sales orders, fulfillments, carriers, carrier products, pickup points, stock items and your account balance.

Does the AI see my Shipmondo API key?

No. You paste your Shipmondo API user and API key into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example quotes and tracking only. Risky actions, like cancelling a shipment, can require your approval before they run, and you can do the same for creating labels. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector) and in Cursor.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You connect your own Shipmondo account, so anything Shipmondo charges is between you and Shipmondo.

Do labels created by the AI cost money?

Yes. When the AI creates a shipment, the label is charged to your Shipmondo account and paid from your prepaid balance, just as if you created it yourself. The AI can check that balance first. If a shipment has not been handed to the carrier yet, it can be cancelled so the label is not used or billed.
