Connect Claude & ChatGPT to ThriveCart
Ask your AI what a customer has bought, or to pause their subscription for a month. It looks up customers by email with their purchases and subscriptions, lists transactions and reads your products, bumps, upsells and downsells. It can also change a customer's email, pause, resume or cancel subscriptions, issue refunds and enroll people in ThriveCart Learn courses.

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose ThriveCart from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a ThriveCart API key. In ThriveCart open Settings > API & webhooks > API tokens, create an API key for your account and copy it.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in ThriveCart?
It can read products, bumps, upsells, downsells and transactions, and look up a customer by email with their purchases and subscriptions. It can change a customer's email, pause, resume and cancel subscriptions, refund transactions and enroll people in ThriveCart Learn courses.
Does the AI see my ThriveCart credentials?
No. Your ThriveCart credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Refunds send money back and cancelling a subscription stops future payments, so those tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own ThriveCart account.
Can the AI refund a customer?
Yes, if you switch on the refund tool. It refunds a transaction using the order ID and the transaction reference. The money goes back to the customer and the refund cannot be undone, so you can require your approval first. A cancelled subscription also cannot be restored from PipMCP.
