Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Starshipit from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your Starshipit API key and your subscription key. Log in to Starshipit and go to Settings > API. Generate or copy the API key and the subscription key, and paste both into PipMCP.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in Starshipit?

The AI can read unshipped, printed, shipped and delivered orders, manifests, products and saved addresses. It can create and update orders, get shipping rates and delivery services, print labels and packing slips, manifest orders, add products and addresses, and record orders shipped outside Starshipit for tracking, if you switch those tools on.

Does the AI see my Starshipit API key?

No. Your Starshipit API key and subscription key are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups and rate checks. Printing a label books the shipment with the carrier, and a manifest hands shipments over for pickup and cannot be undone. You can require your approval before actions like these run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Starshipit account, and anything Starshipit or your carriers charge is between you and them.

Does checking shipping rates book anything?

No. Getting shipping rates or delivery services only returns the options and prices. A shipment is booked with the carrier when the AI prints a label, and handed over for pickup when it manifests the order.
