What can the AI do in SMS.to?

It can send SMS to one number, many numbers or a saved contact list, send personalized texts, schedule messages and send Viber messages. It can estimate SMS and Viber costs without sending, and read sent messages and campaigns with status and cost.

Does the AI see my SMS.to credentials?

No. Your SMS.to API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with cost estimates and lookups only. Every send and schedule tool delivers real messages and uses your balance, so they can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own SMS.to account, and the messages you send are paid from your SMS.to balance.

Can I see the price before a message goes out?

Yes. Ask the AI to estimate the cost first. The estimate tools for SMS and Viber return the price for the messages you describe and send nothing, so you can decide before you approve the real send.
