It sends the request in test mode, so SMSLink simulates the message and nothing is delivered.
“Send it with our sender name AcmeShop.”
It sets the sender label on the message. The label only works if SMSLink has activated it for your account.
“Write a short delivery notice, show it to me, then send it to 0744 555 666.”
It drafts the text, waits for your OK and then sends the SMS.

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose SMSLink from the app list.

Paste your key
Enter your SMSLink Connection ID and connection password. In your SMSLink account go to SMS Gateway > Configurare si setari (Configuration and settings) and create a connection. SMSLink generates the Connection ID and you choose its password.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
- Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
- Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in SMSLink?
The AI can send an SMS to a mobile number, either right away or at a time you choose, with an optional sender label that SMSLink has activated for you. It can also read how much SMS credit is left on your account.
Does the AI see my SMSLink credentials?
No. Your Connection ID and connection password are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can allow credit checks only. Sending an SMS delivers a real message and uses credit, and it can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own SMSLink account, and messages the AI sends use your SMSLink credit.
Can I try it without sending a real SMS?
Yes. SMSLink has a test mode. When the AI sends a message with test set to 1, SMSLink simulates it: nothing is delivered and no credit is used. Ask the AI to use test mode while you try things out.
