Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose SlickText from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a SlickText API key and your Brand ID. In SlickText, click the ellipsis beside your name at the bottom left, choose Settings, then API & Webhooks > API Keys and click Create API Key. Copy the key right away, it is shown only once. This works for accounts on the new SlickText platform.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in SlickText?

It can read your brand, contacts, lists, segments, campaigns, messages, inbox threads, keywords and workflows, plus campaign analytics, contact growth and credit usage. It can create, update and delete contacts, create lists, add and remove contacts from lists, and create and update text campaigns.

Does the AI see my SlickText API key?

No. You paste your API key into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example lookups and analytics without campaigns. Actions that text real subscribers or remove data, like create_campaign or delete_contact, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You connect your own SlickText account, so anything SlickText charges is between you and SlickText.

Where do I find my Brand ID?

The Brand ID identifies which SlickText brand the AI works in. The AI can look it up with the get_brand tool, which reads your brand information with the API key. Enter the ID when you connect, and every contact, list and campaign call goes to that brand.
