Ask your AI to send an SMS, how many messages in a batch were delivered, or what customers replied. It sends and schedules SMS batches through your Sinch SMS account, reads delivery reports and inbound messages, and manages recipient groups. Before a large send it can preview how many recipients and message parts it will be.

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Sinch SMS from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste three values: your SMS API region (us, eu, au, br or ca), your API token and your Service plan ID. In the Sinch Customer Dashboard open SMS > APIs (REST). Copy your Service plan ID and its API token, and note the region your account uses.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.
Questions
What can the AI do in Sinch SMS?
The AI can list and read SMS batches, delivery reports, inbound messages and recipient groups. It can send SMS to one or more recipients, schedule a send, preview a send without sending, cancel a scheduled batch and create recipient groups.
Does the AI see my Sinch API token?
No. Your Sinch credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with delivery reports only. Sending an SMS reaches real people and cancelling a batch cannot be undone, and both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Sinch account.
Why does Sinch need a region and a service plan ID?
Sinch runs its SMS API in separate regions, and your account belongs to one of them. The service plan ID tells Sinch which of your SMS setups to use, and the API token belongs to that plan. You find all three under SMS > APIs (REST) in the Sinch Customer Dashboard.
