Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose SHOPLINE from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your store handle (the 'mystore' in mystore.myshopline.com) and an Admin API access token. In your SHOPLINE admin open Apps and click Develop an App, give it a name and contact email, then edit the app and enable the Admin API permissions you need. Switch to API Credentials, click Install App and copy the Access Token. SHOPLINE emails you a verification code before it shows the token.

You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in SHOPLINE?

The AI can read your store details, products, variants, collections, stock levels, locations, customers, orders, draft orders and abandoned checkouts, and the transactions, refunds and fulfillments of an order. It can create products, customers and draft orders, adjust or set stock, create fulfillments and update tracking, send draft order invoices and cancel orders.

Does the AI see my SHOPLINE access token?

No. Your SHOPLINE access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Cancelling an order may refund the customer and cannot be undone, and sending a draft order invoice emails the customer. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own SHOPLINE store.

Which permissions should my SHOPLINE app have?

Only the ones for the tools you plan to use. When you edit the app in SHOPLINE, you enable its Admin API permissions, for example read access to orders and products. The token can then only reach what those permissions allow, on top of the tools you switch on in PipMCP.
