Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Royal Mail Click & Drop from the app list.

Paste your Click & Drop API auth key. In Click & Drop go to Settings, then Integrations, and add the Click & Drop API integration. Click the integration row to expand it and copy the authorisation (auth) key shown there.

What can the AI do in Royal Mail Click & Drop?

It can create, list, read and delete orders, get postage labels and other documents as PDF, create and read manifests, list carriers and return services, and create return labels with a tracking number and QR code.

Does the AI see my Royal Mail Click & Drop credentials?

No. Your Royal Mail Click & Drop credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Creating orders, returns and manifests can require your approval. Deleting an order is permanent, and using a cancelled label is charged to your account, so that can require approval too. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Royal Mail Click & Drop account, and postage is between you and Royal Mail.

Can the AI get label PDFs for any account?

Getting postage labels and other documents as PDF through the API is available to Royal Mail Online Business Account customers only. Without one, the AI can still create, list and read orders.
