Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Queue

Ask your AI what is on a project board in Queue, what a client has said in the comments, or how much time has been logged. It can create and update tasks, reply to comments, add clients to a project, log time and create invoices. You get answers about client work without clicking through every project.

Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.

Try asking

  • “What is in the In progress column on the Acme project?”

The AI finds the project, lists its board columns and shows the tasks in that column with priority and deadline.

  • “Add a task to Review: update the pricing page, high priority, due Friday.”

It finds the column and creates the task with title, priority and deadline.

  • “Reply to the client's latest comment on the logo task and say the new version is ready.”

It reads the task comment and posts a reply. Mark it private and only your team sees it.

What your AI can do

Projects and tasks

List projects and board columns, read, create and update tasks, and delete a task when you allow it.

Comments and files

Read and post comments on tasks and files, reply to comments, and keep notes private from clients.

Clients, time and invoices

Add clients to projects, log and read time entries, create and read invoices, and see services and service purchases.

  • “Log 2 hours on the homepage task for the Acme project.”

It adds a time entry to the project for that task, with the duration and any notes.

  • “Create an invoice for the Acme project, due in 14 days.”

It creates an invoice on the project with the fields you give, such as bill to, due date, currency and invoice number.

  • “Who are the clients on the Nordic Foods project?”

It lists the clients attached to the project with name, email and company.

Questions

What can the AI do in Queue?

It can read projects, board columns, tasks, comments and replies, files, clients, invoices, time entries, services and service purchases. It can create projects, tasks, clients, invoices, time entries and comments, update tasks, comments and project names, and delete tasks if you switch that tool on.

Does the AI see my Queue API key?

No. Your Queue credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools you switch on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with reading only. Deleting a task is permanent and can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link works in Claude under Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, and in Cursor.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own Queue account.

Can clients see what the AI writes?

Comments are visible to clients unless they are marked private. When the AI adds or edits a comment on a task or file, it can set the private option so only your team sees it. Ask for a private note when you do not want the client to see it.
