Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose PostNord from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your PostNord API key. Sign up at developer.postnord.com and create an application; the production API key is shown in your Developer Portal account. Tracking by reference and delivery options work best with a PostNord customer number.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do with PostNord?

It can track shipments, create tracking links, find and look up service points, estimate transit times, get delivery options from your warehouses and check postal code surcharges. All of these tools read data; booking shipments and printing labels are not included.

Does the AI see my PostNord API key?

No. Your PostNord credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, and every tool call is logged so you can see what the AI looked up. Tools that change or send something can require your approval, though the PostNord tools only read.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own PostNord account. PipMCP is an independent service and is not affiliated with PostNord.

Which countries are covered?

Tracking works for PostNord shipments in general. Service points cover the Nordic countries and several other European countries. Looking up the default service point by postal code only works in Sweden, Norway and Finland, so for Denmark the AI searches by address.
