It verifies the issued badge by its ID and tells you whether it is valid.

It finds the issued badge and revokes it with that reason. Tom's badge is no longer valid.

It updates the recipient name with skip_email set, so the recipient is not notified.

Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Navigatr from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Navigatr personal access token. In Navigatr, open navigatr.app/settings/personal-access-tokens, create a token (you can give it an expiry date) and copy it right away. It is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Navigatr?

The AI can search and read badges, criteria, alignments, tags, endorsements, issued badges, providers, communities and users. It can create, update and publish badges, add criteria and tags, issue badges to recipients, and update, verify or revoke issued badges.

Does the AI see my Navigatr access token?

No. Your Navigatr access token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Issuing a badge awards it to a real recipient, and revoking one makes it invalid. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Navigatr account.

Where do I find my provider ID?

Your provider is the organisation that issues your badges. The AI can list the providers a user belongs to, including those where they can create badges, and use that provider ID when it creates or issues badges.
