Paste your key
Paste a Jostle Tasks API token. A Jostle system administrator must first accept the API terms under Administration > Manage API rights and give your user Tasks API access. Then open the Tasks view in Jostle, create a Tasks API token there and paste it into PipMCP.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Jostle?

It can list people and saved people lists, read a task and its comments, create tasks for one or several colleagues, update a task, post comments and set a user's status. It works with tasks you give it an ID for or create in the chat, since there is no tool that lists all tasks.

Does the AI see my Jostle credentials?

No. Your Tasks API token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups only. Creating the same task for many people sends a notification to each of them, so that tool can require your approval before it runs. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Jostle account.

Why does an administrator need to be involved?

Jostle only allows API access after a system administrator has accepted the API terms and given your user Tasks API rights under Administration > Manage API rights. Once that is done, you create the Tasks API token yourself in the Tasks view.
