Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose inFlow Inventory from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste an inFlow API key and your Company ID. You need the inFlow API access add-on (or a trial) and admin rights. Go to app.inflowinventory.com/options/integrations, generate an API key and copy it. The same page shows your companyId in the API keys section.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

What can the AI do in inFlow Inventory?

It can read products, stock levels, categories, locations, customers, vendors, sales orders, purchase orders, stock adjustments and stock transfers. It can create and update products, customers, vendors and stock adjustments, fulfill, ship, invoice and cancel sales orders, and approve and receive purchase orders.

Does the AI see my inFlow Inventory API key?

No. You paste your inFlow Inventory API key into PipMCP once. It is encrypted at rest, never shown to the AI and never shown again after you save it. The AI only gets the results of the tools you have switched on.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. Switch on only the tools you want, for example stock lookups without order changes. Actions that change stock or orders, like fulfilling a sales order, receiving a purchase order or saving a stock adjustment, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You connect your own inFlow Inventory account, and inFlow's API access add-on is needed for the connection.

What do I need from inFlow to connect?

You need the API access add-on (or a trial) and admin rights in inFlow. On the Options › Integrations page you generate an API key and find your companyId. You paste both into PipMCP.
