Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose ikas from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your ikas store name (the 'mystore' in mystore.myikas.com), Client ID and Client secret. In your ikas admin, go to Apps › My Apps, click More › Create Private App, name it, choose the API scopes you need and click Create. PipMCP uses the Client ID and secret to get access tokens, so there is no separate sign-in.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in ikas?

The AI can list and search products, create and update products, update variant prices, list categories, brands and stock locations, and read and set stock counts. It can list orders, fulfill them, update package status, add order tags, read payment transactions and invoice PDFs, and cancel or refund order lines. It can also find, create and update customers and list campaigns and coupons.

Does the AI see my ikas client secret?

No. Your ikas credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with read-only tools. Refunds move money back to the customer, and refunds and cancellations cannot be undone. Those actions, and changes that show on your storefront, can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own ikas account.

How do I limit what the AI can reach in my store?

In two places. When you create the private app in ikas, you choose its API scopes, and ikas blocks anything outside them. In PipMCP you then choose which tools are switched on and which need your approval.
