Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Ignition
Ask your AI which proposals are still open, how much was collected last month, or where your deals stand in Ignition. It can list clients, contacts, proposals, invoices, payments, deals and services, and pull the collections and deal stages reports. The connection uses Ignition's reporting access, so the AI reads your data and does not change it.
Free plan, no credit card. Takes about a minute.
Try asking
“Which proposals are still waiting for the client to accept?”
The AI lists proposals by state, so you see which ones are still open.
“Which proposals were accepted this quarter?”
It lists proposals with an accepted date in that range.
“How much did we collect in August?”
It gets the collections report for August 1 to 31.

Questions
What can the AI do in Ignition?
It can list clients, client contacts, proposals, invoices, payments, deals and services, with filters like state, tags and date ranges. It can also get the payment collections report for a period and the deal stages report for your pipeline.
Does the AI see my Ignition credentials?
No. Your Client ID and Client secret are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, for example proposals and deals without payments. Every tool call is logged, so you can see what the AI looked up and when.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
Ignition connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Ignition account.
Can the AI change anything in Ignition?
No. The connection uses Ignition's reporting scope, and every tool lists or reports on data. The AI can read clients, proposals, invoices, payments and deals, but it cannot create, send or change them.
