Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Helloprint API from the app list.

Paste your Helloprint API key. Helloprint issues API keys on request: email [email protected] and ask for an API key for your Helloprint business account, then paste the key you receive into PipMCP.

What can the AI do in Helloprint API?

The AI can read products and product variants, get quotes, place orders, look up orders by Helloprint order ID or by your own order reference, and cancel an order or a single order item.

Does the AI see my Helloprint API credentials?

No. Your Helloprint API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with products and quotes only. Placing an order and cancelling an order or item can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Helloprint account.

Will the AI place real print orders?

Only if you ask it to. Orders are placed in test mode by default. A real, billable order needs the AI to set the mode to prod, and you can require your approval before any order is placed.
