Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Go1 from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Go1 client ID and client secret. You must be an Administrator in your Go1 portal. Open the portal menu (bottom-left) > Settings > Integrations and apps, scroll to Developer and under Client apps click View > Create app. Enter a name and any callback URL (for example https://example.com), save, and copy the client ID and secret. The secret is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in Go1?

It can search learning content, read courses, learners, groups, enrollments, playlists and certificates, and get progress summaries per learner. It can add and update learner accounts, enroll or assign learners, update and delete enrollments, create play links, and create playlists and add courses to them.

Does the AI see my Go1 credentials?

No. Your Go1 client ID and client secret are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with lookups and reports only. Deleting an enrollment removes the learner's progress record and cannot be undone, and a new learner account can send a login email. These tools can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

Go1 connects with OAuth, and OAuth connections need the PipMCP Pro plan or above. PipMCP also has a free plan with no credit card, but it does not include this connection. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Go1 portal.

Who can create the Go1 client app?

You must be an Administrator in your Go1 portal. The client app is created under Settings > Integrations and apps > Developer > Client apps. Its secret is shown only once, so copy it straight into PipMCP.
