Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose Giftbit from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste a Giftbit API token. In Giftbit go to Account > API keys and generate one. Production API tokens must first be enabled by Giftbit (contact [email protected]). A Testbed token only works against Giftbit's Testbed.

Questions
What can the AI do in Giftbit?
The AI can search gift card brands and regions, list and read sent gifts and campaigns, and check your balance per currency. It can also resend a gift's delivery email and cancel an unredeemed gift if you switch those tools on. It does not order new gifts or add funds.
Does the AI see my Giftbit API token?
No. Your Giftbit API token is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.
Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?
Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Resending a gift sends an email to the recipient, and cancelling a gift cannot be undone. Both can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.
What does it cost?
PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own Giftbit account.
Why doesn't my Giftbit token work?
Giftbit has a Testbed and a production environment. A Testbed token only works against the Testbed, and production API tokens must first be enabled by Giftbit. Contact [email protected] to get production access, then generate a token under Account > API keys.
