Set up in three steps

Pick the app
Create a free PipMCP account and choose CloudTalk from the app list.

Paste your key
Paste your CloudTalk API Access Key ID and Access Key Secret. As a CloudTalk administrator, open Account > Settings > API Keys in the dashboard and click Add API Key. Copy the Access Key ID and the Access Key Secret right away, because the secret is shown only once.

Add the link to your AI
You get a personal MCP link. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor:
1. Click your name, then Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
2. Paste your link as the Remote MCP server URL.
3. Switch it on from the + menu in a chat.

Questions

What can the AI do in CloudTalk?

The AI can read calls, contacts, notes, activities, agents, groups, group statistics, numbers, tags, campaigns, countries and blocked numbers. It can create, update, tag and delete contacts, create tags, block numbers, send SMS and start outbound calls.

Does the AI see my CloudTalk API keys?

No. Your CloudTalk credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save them, they are not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start with call history and contacts only. Sending an SMS, starting a call, blocking a number and deleting a contact can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced, turn on Developer mode and add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan, and you do not need a credit card to start. Paid plans are billed per completed task. You also need your own CloudTalk account.

Can the AI make calls and send text messages?

Yes, if you switch those tools on. When the AI starts a call, CloudTalk first rings the agent you choose and then dials the customer, so a person is always on the line. An SMS goes out from one of your CloudTalk numbers as a real text message and may use credit.
