It can also approve, fail or inquire on fulfillment requests, work on helpdesk cases and post in conversations, with your approval if you want it.

Questions

What can the AI do in CloudBlue Connect?

The AI can read products, product items, subscriptions, fulfillment requests, customer accounts, partners, marketplaces, contracts, usage files, tier configuration requests, helpdesk cases and conversations. It can approve, fail or inquire on fulfillment requests, update their parameters, open and resolve helpdesk cases and post conversation messages.

Does the AI see my CloudBlue Connect API key?

No. Your CloudBlue Connect API key is encrypted at rest and never shown to the AI. After you save it, it is not shown again, not even to you. The AI only sees the results of the tools it calls.

Can I control what the AI is allowed to do?

Yes. You choose which tools are switched on, so you can start read-only. Approving a request changes the customer's subscription, failing one cannot be undone, and conversation messages are seen by other participants. These can require your approval before they run. Every tool call is logged.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT go to Settings › Apps & Connectors › Advanced and turn on Developer mode, then add your PipMCP link. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise. The same link also works in Claude (Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector), Cursor and other MCP clients.

What does it cost?

PipMCP has a free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans bill per completed task. You also need your own CloudBlue Connect account.

Can I limit which parts of Connect the AI reaches?

Yes, in two ways. When you create the token in Connect, you pick the modules it may access, and the token cannot reach anything else. In PipMCP you then switch on only the tools you want.
